The easiest way to get the logs file is through the app itself. Just click the ? icon located in the app's side menu and select 'Create logs zip'. A new window will open to show you the location of the created zip file.
Once it's ready, send the zip file to our support team here with a description of the issue that you're experiencing.
If you can't get your logs this way, you can get them manually:
Windows
Overwolf App
- Close the Overwolf client
- Press Windows key + R (or click on the system's 'Search' button, then type in and open 'Run')
- Type in: %localappdata%
- Click 'OK'
- Open the folder named 'Overwolf'
- Locate the folder named 'Log'
- Compress the folder to a Zip file
Standalone App
- Press Windows key + R (or click on the 'Search' button, type in and open 'Run')
- Type in: %AppData%
- Click 'OK'
- Open the folder named 'CurseForge'
- Locate the folders named 'agent' and 'logs'
- Compress the folders to a Zip file and send them to us
macOS
- Open the Finder
- Go to:
Local user > Library > Application support > CurseForge > Agent > Logs > CurseClient
And
Local user > Library > Logs > CurseForge - Compress these folders
- Send them to us
- Can't locate the folders? They may be hidden, so please follow these steps first:
- In the Finder's side menu, click the icon that looks like a house icon (if you can't see it, please enable it first through the Finder's settings)
- Open the display function with the key combination “Command” + “J”
- Select the option “Show Library Folder”
- Click on "Use as default" so that the folders remain permanently visible
Linux
- Open the following folder: /home/[user]/.config/CurseForge/
- Locate the folders named 'agent' and 'logs'
- Compress the folders to a Zip file and send them to us
