How to skip launcher with CurseForge
In order to enable this setting go to the Minecraft settings in CurseForge and under Launcher settings select "Skip launcher with CurseForge":
You will then need to log in to your Minecraft account and authorize CurseForge:
Copy the CurseForge Authorization code and enter it in the Microsoft window:
Unsupported versions
The following versions are not yet supported when "Skip launcher with CurseForge" is enabled:
Windows:
- 1.7.2 (Forge mod loader)
- 1.5.2 (Forge mod loader)
Mac:
- 1.20.1 (NeoForge mod loader)
- 1.15.2 - 1.16.5 (Forge mod loader)
- 1.23 - 1.2.4 (Vanilla and Forge mod loader)
Error explanations
"Login failed. Please make sure you login with the account linked to the purchased game."
- You don't own Minecraft Java Edition / Don't have Minecraft Java Edition on your account.
- Make sure that you are logged in to the correct Microsoft/Mojang account.
- Make sure that you can log in successfully with the same account on xbox.com and minecraft.net/en-us/login?
"Login failed. Minecraft profile was not found."
- Could not get User Minecraft profile.
- Launch the game and create a Minecraft user via the game launcher
- Make sure that you can log in successfully with the same account on xbox.com and minecraft.net/en-us/login?
"Login failed. Device code has expired. Please try again."
- The device authentication code has expired.
Please restart the login process with a new generated code.
"Login failed. Unable to authenticate with Xbox live."
- You don't have a valid Xbox account.
Make sure you have an active Xbox account. To create an account, log into https://www.xbox.com with your Microsoft account.
"Login failed. Authorization was declined."
- Pressed on cancel during the authorization process.
Please try again and do not cancel/close the authorization process.
"Login failed. Please try again."
This error can appear for various reasons.

Several possible causes that are known at this time are:
- Antivirus program is preventing the app from connecting successfully to the Microsoft service - Please try to temporarily close or disable the antivirus, then log in again.
- Your Microsoft account is accessed without a password - If you are logging in to your Microsoft account without using a password (rather, getting a temporary code in your email inbox, for example), this can cause the authentication process to fail.
You can set a password for your Microsoft account by pressing "Forgot password" in the login screen, and then try to log in through the app again.
