Game Won't Get Added To The App

Automatic Scan

If the app hasn't detected the game upon its first launch, please try to ran the app's scan by selecting the drive where the game is installed:


  1. Open the app's settings:



  2. Click the '+' button, and then 'Scan computer for games':



  3. Select the drive where the game is installed and click 'Scan':


Adding The Game Manually

If the scan did not locate the game, try adding it manually:


  1. Open the app's settings:



  2. Click the '+' button, and then 'Manually add a game':



  3. Select the folder that contains the game's process (TS4_x64.exe).
    For example, if you installed the game via Steam you will need to select the following folder:
    C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\The Sims 4\Game\Bin\

    If you installed the game via Origin you will need to select this folder:
    C:\Program Files (x86)\Origin Games\The Sims 4\Game\Bin\


    For mac users: Please select the folder in which the The Sims 4.app file is located.
    For example: /Users/[user]/Applications/



Please note: the app will automatically locate the game's 'Mods' folder!

Can't See My Installed Mods/CC In The Game

Mods/CC Enabled In The Game

First, please make sure that mods and CC are enabled in the game's settings:


  1. Open The Sims 4 and click on 'Options':



  2. Click on 'Game Options':



  3. Click on 'Other', enable the modding options ('Enable Custom Content and Mods' and 'Script Mods allowed') then click on 'Apply Changes' (if any warning comes up please click on the check mark):



  4. You will then need to relaunch your game for the changes to take effect.


Disabling OneDrive

If you have OneDrive running, please try to exit it and restart the game

  1. From your system's Taskbar or Taskbar Tray, click on the OneDrive icon
  2. Click on the 'Help & Settings' icon
  3. Click 'Quit OneDrive'
  4. Click 'Close OneDrive'
  5. Restart the game and check if your mods and CC appear



Deleting All Installed Mods/CC

There are two options:

  1. Selecting all of the mods by pressing Ctrl+A, and clicking 'Delete'.
    Please note that this will also delete all saved sims and buildings that are in library/gallery (not the ones in game).



  2. Deleting them outside of the app, from their folders (Mods/Tray), then scanning the folders so they get removed from the app as well:


Mods/CC Don't Work Properly In-Game
