Moderation Guidelines for inZOI – KRAFTON, Inc.

In order to maintain a healthy environment that promotes both collaboration and accountability among our community, the following guidelines describe what KRAFTON, Inc. considers acceptable and unacceptable for inZOI (“inZOI”, “Game”) content hosted on the CurseForge’s platform. The moderation guidelines set forth below are intended to supplement CurseForge’s moderation guidelines and policies. In the event of any conflict between these inZOI Moderation Guidelines and CurseForge’s moderation guidelines and/or policies, the inZOI Moderation Guidelines shall take precedence.


All Mods made available on CurseForge must comply with the following guidelines. Any Mod that violates these guidelines is prohibited from being hosted on CurseForge's platform.


Mods Must:

  • Mods must be made available to all users for free. They may not be sold, licensed, or rented for a fee, nor may they include features that support any type of monetary transaction.
  • Mods must comply with the ESRB “Teen” rating and content descriptors, or the appropriate game rating in your region.
  • Mods must comply with the inZOI Mods Policy.
  • Mods must not be presented in a way that suggests they are “official” or otherwise affiliated with or endorsed by KRAFTON, Inc.
  • Mods must not promote or be sponsored by any commercial brands.
  • Mods must not include any software or program that damages, interferes with, or disrupts another user’s network, computer, or property — such as denial-of-service attacks, spam, hacking, or malware (e.g., viruses, worms, Trojan horses, spyware, corrupted files, or time bombs).
  • Mods must not contain content that is abusive, hateful, harassing, profane, defamatory, threatening, obscene, sexually explicit, vulgar, offensive, indecent, illegal, or otherwise unlawful.


Mods must not contain the following:

Sexual and Romantic Content

  • Include sexually explicit content, nudity, or explicit language that exceeds the Game’s rating, including the depiction of actual or implied sexual acts.
  • Mild romantic expressions such as holding hands, hugging, or kissing between two characters are permitted. However, kissing or sexual acts must not be depicted in a graphic or explicit manner and may only be shown in a suggestive or implied way.
  • Depict or suggest inappropriate romantic or sexual relationships involving minors, characters not in appropriate age stages, or animals.
  • Depict non-consensual romantic or sexual behavior created or enabled through avatars, animations, or in-game tools.
  • Include abusive, non-consensual, or exploitative romantic or sexual content, including the unauthorized sharing of private imagery.


Violence and Harmful Content

  • Depicts excessive violence, harmful behavior, or strong language beyond the Game’s rating, including endangerment of minors.
  • Depict graphic violence, blood, gore, physical harm, torture, dismemberment, or brutality.
  • Use swearing, cursing, or strong language.
  • Glorify, encourage, or provide instructions for self-harm, suicide, eating disorders, or dangerous behaviors, including harmful “challenges” that could lead to injury or death.
  • Exploit, endanger, or promote violence toward minors or animals in any form, including child labor, trafficking, or placing them in harmful scenarios.


Drugs, Alcohol, and Gambling

  • Promotes or depicts substance use or gambling in ways that violate the Game’s rating or relevant regulations.
  • Depict the consumption of alcohol, intoxication effects, or include content that promotes or glamorizes drinking.
  • Depict the use of drugs, tobacco, or other illegal substances, or include content that promotes or normalizes such behavior.
  • Props referencing alcohol, tobacco, or drugs may appear as background elements, but avatars must not use or interact with them.
  • Include references to or simulate gambling, betting, or similar chance-based activities.


Dangerous Behavior and Illegal Activities

  • Glorify, promote, or depict dangerous stunts, pranks, viral challenges, or other reckless and harmful behavior that may exceed the Game’s rating or pose real-world risks.
  • Promote, depict, or facilitate illegal activities or exploitation, including human trafficking, organ trafficking, fraud, or similar criminal conduct.
  • Encourage or normalize engagement in unlawful organizations or activities.


Real-World Sensitivities and Harassment

  • Include or promote hate speech, discrimination, or harassment based on real-world characteristics that may violate the Game’s rating or community standards, such as race, ethnicity, religion, nationality, gender, sexual orientation, or disability
  • Include or promote political or religious content, including agendas, symbols, or commentary that may be considered divisive, offensive, or derogatory
  • Depictions of churches, temples, cathedrals, or similar structures are permitted, provided they are not intended to be divisive, offensive, or derogatory.
  • Include or promote harassment or intimidation of individuals or groups.
  • Include or promote hate groups, extremist ideologies, or symbols that promote violence, intolerance, or discrimination.


Intellectual Property and Privacy Violations

  • Infringes any intellectual property or legal rights of third parties, including copyrights, trademarks, moral rights, license agreements, or confidentiality obligations.
  • Use of third-party images, characters, audio, music, or text must be properly licensed or demonstrably original.
  • Incorporates real-world brands, brand names, logos, locations, buildings, landmarks or other identifying marks associated with intellectual property without obtaining necessary rights.
  • Uses the names, likenesses, voices, or identities of real people without explicit permission, including celebrities, influencers, or private individuals.
