- In general, mod content must comply with the base game’s IARC rating. In particular, mods must not introduce content that:
- Is sexually explicit
- Can be construed as promoting real-life violence, discrimination, hate, the use of illicit substances, or any other unlawful act
- Promotes or simulates gambling
- Mods must respect trademark, copyright, licensing agreements, and similar laws. Any content that is not the rightful property of the mod’s author must either be open source or used with the explicit permission of the rightful owner. All such material must be clearly credited to its owner.
- Any depiction of real persons requires their express permission. This requirement does not apply to well-known historical figures.
- Any depiction of real-life events must be strictly historical in nature.
- Mods must be made available to all users free of charge in their entirety. No in-game payment systems are allowed. Links to donation services (such as Patreon) are permitted only on the project page, and only if it is clearly stated that contributions are fully voluntary and not required to access or enjoy any part of the content.
- Mods must not imply any affiliation with Ironward Studio, its members, or its partners without explicit permission. Mods must never be presented or branded as “official.”
- The use and extent of generative AI must be clearly disclosed in the mod description.
- The project page must include a description that clearly explains the changes introduced by the mod. If any visuals are added or modified, at least one image must be provided to clearly demonstrate the mod’s visual style.
- The project page must at minimum contain:
- A description of the map, the idea behind it, what makes it special, and what kind of gameplay it is conducive to…
- At least one image that clearly depicts the map.

Contain any unnecessary material not related to the map or the game.
